一架新加入美国海军陆战队HMH-463重型直升机中队的 CH-53E“超级种马”直升机抵达夏威夷卡内奥赫湾陆战队航空基地,以接替之前退役的 CH-53D 直升机。(A Marine with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 taxis a CH-53E Super Stallion onto the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, after seven Super Stallions flew from the USS Bonhomme Richard, Feb. 21, 2012. The Super Stallions flew over Kaneohe Bay in formation before permanently joining the squadron. “Pegasus” is the only squadron on base to transfer to the CH-53Es and are the last heavy helicopter squadron in the Marine Corps to receive them. “Pegasus” now flies a total of 11 Super Stallions. They expect to receive their final Super Stallion at the end of this year, bringing their aircraft compliment to a full squadron of 12. HMH-463 previously flew the CH-53D Sea Stallion, which was ceremonially retired from service, Feb. 10, 2012.)
