1987年8月1日，阿拉斯加陆军国民警卫队的CH-54B"塔赫"起重直升机吊运PBY"卡塔利娜"水上飞机飞越克拉克湖，这架被废弃的PBY将被送往阿拉斯加航空博物馆修复收藏。（An Alaska Army National Guard CH-54B Tahre airlifts as an OA-10 PBY Catalina flying boat over Lake Clark Pass during a recovery operation. The historic aircraft was abandoned by the Air Force after engine trouble forced it down at Dago Lake on September 30, 1947. Members of the Alaskan Aviation Heritage Museum, initiators of the recovery operation, plan to restore the aircraft and have it flying again sometime in the early 1990s.）
