2014年4月14日，春鹰-2014，从阿克罗蒂里基地起飞的“红箭”特技飞行队的“鹰”T1A 教练机在塞浦路斯上空翱翔，该飞行队习惯前往塞浦路斯阿克罗蒂里半岛海岸上空训练，因为这里的天气条件非常适合飞行，训练旨在保持飞行特技的高标准，在夏季的飞行表演中展示给公众。（On the 1st April 2014 The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team (RAFAT) The Red Arrows land at Royal Air Force (RAF) Akrotiri in Cyprus. This marks the start of the teams "Exercise Springhawk", a two month detachment to RAF Akrotiri. The purpose of the exercise is for the team to continue training in order to get their display to the highest standard before it was flown in front of the public during the summer display season. RAFAT traditionally travel to Cyprus because the weather conditions are perfect for flying, and RAF Akrotiri provides many different display sites for them to practice at. At the end of the detachment the team will display in front of The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) in order to pass a Public Display Authority (PDA). At this point the pilots will wear their famous red suits and the display season will begin. ）
