访问中国青岛的美国海军第七舰队旗舰蓝岭号在青岛外海与中国海军举行联合搜救演习，蓝岭号出动 HSC-12“金色猎鹰”战斗直升机中队一架 MH-60S 直升机在演习中空投蛙人。（Naval Air Crewman 3rd Class Curtis Kuchera jumps from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12 and embarked aboard the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) into the sea during a search-and-rescue exercise. Blue Ridge visited Qingdao to build partnerships with China's People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA(N)) during a goodwill port visit. U.S. Sailors and members of the PLA(N) participated in professional military exchanges, exercise planning, and cultural and sporting events.）
