日本静冈县下田市，日本陆上自卫队第34步兵团一架 CH-47J 直升机在静冈县防灾演习中降落到一处草地上。（A Japanese CH-47 Chinook, assigned to the 34th Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, executes landing procedures during the Shizuoka Disaster Drill Aug. 31 in the Shizuoka prefecture. The helicopter is used to move JGSDF members and U.S. Marines quickly in the event of a disaster. The Shizuoka Disaster Drill is a semi-annual exercise conducted by the Shizuoka Prefectural Government. The drill is used to prepare all emergency personnel for an earthquake in the Shizuoka prefecture and the possible tsunami which may follow. Participating Marines are with 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.）
