Michael River forms up to receive fuel from an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to VFA-22 and flown by Lt. Michael Loringer during a mission flown from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.)
