澳大利亚昆士兰州汤斯维尔野战训练区，澳大利亚陆军 CH-47D 运输直升机在2014年联合兵种训练演习中运送部队。（A CH-47D Chinook transports troops from the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment during the 3rd Brigade Combined Arms Training Activity (CATA) at the Townsville Field Training Area on 12 June 2014. Comprising nearly 400 personnel, the aviation battlegroup for the CATA consisted of a troop of Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter Tigers from the 1st Aviation Regiment's 161st Squadron, and a troop of Multi Role Helicopter (MRH-90) Taipans, a troop of S-70A-9 Black Hawks, and a troop of CH-47D Chinooks from each of the 5th Aviation Regiment squadrons.）
