Three Black Hawks and a Chinook pick up the soldiers from the Brisbane-based 8th / 9th Battalion of The Royal Australian Regiment (8/9 RAR) at a landing zone in Shoalwater Bay Training Area, transporting them to Williamson Airfield. This is the first leg of their journey home, marking the end of Talisman Saber 2009 for 8/9 RAR.）
