Seventh Fleet Chief of Staff Capt. Charles F. Williams is visiting the ship to discuss operations during exercise Talisman Sabre (TS) 2011. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A. D. Hull, is currently underway with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit for TS11, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.）
