On 23 November 2014, HMAS Success deployed to the Middle East Region for 6 months as part of Operation MANITOU. Force assigned to Joint Task Force 633 and part of Combined Task Force 53, her role involved providing logistic support to coalition navy ships in the area, enabling them to spend longer periods on task by providing them with fuel and stores. Success also provides support to Combined Task Force 150 by conducting boarding's when required. Operation MANITOU is the Australian Government's contribution to maritime security, counter-piracy and counter-terrorism in the Region. HMAS Success is the 59th rotation to the Middle East by a Royal Australian Navy vessel.）
