2015年11月3日，北约“三叉戟接点-15”联合演习中，美国海军陆战队 VMM-261“狂牛”倾转旋翼机中队一架 MV-22B 在里斯本 Fuzileiros 训练基地和葡萄牙海军陆战队联训。这次演习是北约近20年来最大规模军演，于10月19日在地中海展开，为期5周，30个北约成员国、约3.6万人、230个军事单位参演。（Today the Portuguese, Spanish and U.S. team demonstrated the Allied Maritime Basing Initiative by launching U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey aircraft from the Spanish ship Juan Carlos I to pick up Portuguese Marines at a Fuzileiros training base outside of Lisbon, Portugal and inserting them at their exercise objective. Exercise Trident Juncture includes more than 30 nations and 36,000 service members from 230+ units and is designed to show the NATO team’s capability to respond to threats together.）
