2012年7月31日，环太平洋-2012（RIMPAC 2012）多边海上军演，加拿大空军 CF-188D“大黄蜂”在夏威夷海域上空进行空中加油。环太演习由美国海军主导，从1971年开始每两年举办一次，本届是第23次，共有22国参与，从2012年6月27日至8月7日在夏威夷海域进行。（A Canadian Air Force F/A-18 Hornet prepares to be refueled by the 465th Air Refueling Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., during Rim of the Pacific exercise, July 30, 2012.
