2015年8月5日，美国空军第17特种作战中队 MC-130J 准备撤离嘉手纳空军基地，以避开苏迪罗台风侵袭。（A U.S. Air Force MC-130J Commando II from the 17th Special Operations Squadron taxis down the Kadena Air Base, Japan, flightline before takeoff Aug. 5, 2015. The 17th SOS evacuated the aircraft in anticipation of Typhoon Soudelor, which is expected to pass through the region Aug. 7. The evacuation, which is standard procedure, allows the 353rd Special Operations Group Airmen to maintain the ability to rapidly respond to crises in the region at anytime.）
