The Fighter Combat Instructor (FCI) course being conducted from 14 January to 28 June 2013 is an Air Combat Group lead course. The aim of the FCI course is to graduate expert leaders and instructors capable of tactics development, validation and instruction. This year, the FCI course will contain F/A-18 Hornets and F/A-18F Super Hornet Pilots and weapon System Officers, with adversary support being provided by No. 81 and No. 82 Wings along with the USAF F-16s from the 18th Aggressor Squadron, Alaska. Wednesday 20 February saw the first mission for the USAF F-16s from the 18th Aggressor Squadron who are providing superior adversary support to the FCI course at RAAF Base Williamtown. The Aggressors from Eielson Air Force Base Alaska are supporting the FCI course from 17 February to 20 March 2013 with ten F-16s and 120 support personnel.）
