英国空军二架二战时期的超级马林 329“喷火”Mk2A（前）和霍克“飓风”Mk2C 编队飞行，以纪念1940年7月10日至1941年10月12日爆发的不列颠战役。二战期间，纳粹德国打败法国后，便拟定入侵英国，为保障渡海登陆作战，德军需先夺取制空权。于是德国空军集结了3个主力航空队共计2669架飞机，战斗机和轰炸机各占一半，英国则以700架战斗机和500架轰炸机迎击。经过4个阶段的鏖战，双方损失惨重，但英国空军最终守住了英伦海峡，德国则无力为继不得不放弃入侵计划。在这场攸关英国生死存亡的大空战中，性能略欠一筹，但数量较多的“飓风”和性能优异，但数量较少的“喷火”正好形成了理想的高低搭配，成为英国空军和德国空军争夺制空权的利器。（HELP THE RAF WITH SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE BATTLE OF BRITAIN MOSAIC.）

The jet (tail number ZK308) has been adorned with iconic black and white invasion markings in a tribute to the significant role of the Hawker Typhoon in WWII – particularly during D-Day operations. Included in the unveiling ceremony was a flypast by the Tyhpoon along with a spitfire.）
