菲律宾邦板牙省克拉克空军基地，美菲 PHIBLEX 14 两栖登陆演习中，美国海军陆战队VMFA-232战斗攻击机中队的 F/A-18C 战斗机进行拦阻着陆。PHIBLEX 14 演习自2013年9月18日开始至10月11日结束，演习地点包括三描礼士(Zambales)、丹辘(Tarlac)、甲美地(Cavite)、班巴加(Pampanga)等4省以及大马尼拉地区的的军营。演习内容包括双边海上安全，领土防御，野战、空地作战，人道援助以及社区亲善。（An F/A-18C Hornet comes to a complete stop at Clark Air Field, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines, Oct. 2 during a field arrestment exercise as part of Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. These field arrestment systems on aircraft carriers are an essential component of naval aviation; however, they are also found at land-based airfields for expeditionary and emergency use. PHIBLEX 14 is designed to improve Philippine-U.S. interoperability, increase readiness, and enhance the ability for a bilateral force to respond to natural disasters or other regional contingencies. The aircraft is with Marine Fighter Squadron 232, currently assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, as part of the Marine Corps' unit deployment program.）
