马来西亚巴特沃斯空军基地，Elangaroo 09 (EL09)演习中，澳大利亚空军第3中队一架 F/A-18A 战斗机开始滑行，EL09是“五国团结-2009”联合演习举行之前澳马空军之间进行的战斗机演练。（A 3 Squadron F/A-18 Hornet taxis out of the lines. Exercise Elangaroo 09 (EL09) is a bi-lateral fighter exercise conducted between the Royal Australian Air Force and the Royal Malaysian Air Force. This Exercise was conducted on the week prior to Bersama Lima 09, from the 27 September to the 02 October. This is a joint Australian and Malaysian friendship exercise involving Australia’s 3 Squadron and Malaysia’s 17/19 Skuadron. NO 3 Squadron deployed 8 F/A-18 Hornets to conduct air to air training missions with Malaysia’s 17/19 Skuadron’s MiG 29's.）
