This year marks the 40th Anniversary of successful co-operation between the founding members of the Five Power Defence Arrangement (FPDA); Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Australia. As part of Exercise Bersama Lima 11, F/A -18 Hornets from No. 75 Squadron (75 SQN) deployed to practise air combat tactics with participating nations, and joined air, ground and naval forces of the FPDA training together in various locations on the Malaysian Peninsula and in the South China Sea.）
