Exercise Precision Red is an important combat airlift training exercise being held in North Queensland from May 21 until June 4. The exercise will assist Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) airlift personnel when deployed abroad, and features three C-130J Hercules from No. 37 Squadron and 80 personnel from RAAF Base Richmond operating out of RAAF Base Townsville. Crews are supporting several Hercules missions a day, and exercise organisers are recreating the challenges found on deployment in order to hone the skills of Air Force personnel.）
