2016年11月7日，首次韩美英“无敌盾牌”联合空中演习，英国空军“台风”FGR4战斗机从韩国乌山空军基地起飞，这是自朝鲜战争以后英国空军第一次向朝鲜半岛派出飞机。该演习由韩国空军举办，自2016年11月4日至11月10日止。（A Eurofighter Typhoon of II(AC) Sqn takes to the skies at Osan Air Base in the Republic of Korea. II(AC) Sqn is deployed on “Invincible Shield," the first-ever ROK-US-UK Combined Air Exercise.）
